Living Stones Pakistan runs 2 schools, with another School under development:
Okara School:
Now comprises Christian pupils, from ages to 17. Over the years, 640 pupils have graduated 9″ and 10″ secondary school level, and 460 pupils have gone on to achieve higher education
Amrit Nagar Campus School:
This village is a 2-hour drive from Okara and has a population of around 9,000, with many Christian families living far below the poverty line. The children here are in desperate need of education. Living Stones took on this challenge and began building a school in 2018. On April 6th, 2021, the school was formally opened.
Although still under construction, one part of the school already serves 288 pupils aged 4 to 14. Once completed, it will accommodate up to 700 students.
Bethlehem Campus School:
Pastor Waqas has nearly completed the structural work (walls) of the school and is now preparing to put up the concrete roof. The goal is to complete the interior by 2025 and open the school to serve 800 Christian children living in this village of 2,500 Christian families.
Pastor Waqas also envisions establishing a third-level academy in Stuntzabad, another historic Christian village named after a missionary who devoted his life to serving there. Stuntzabad is located 15 kilometers (8 miles) from Amrit Nagar. The plan is to link the two campuses so that children who complete their secondary education can continue on to college-level studies in Stuntzabad.
In addition, Pastor Waqas hopes to start a technical school and build a hostel to accommodate children from surrounding villages who wish to pursue their education. We are praying for the resources needed to begin construction on the two acres of land that were acquired three years ago.
